Welcome to

What are Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged 8 to 10.They meet in a Cub pack and have lots of fun. At Cubs you can try lots of fun activities like camping, going on trips, making things, playing games, badge work and competitions.

What we do at St.Andrews Cubs
Every Wednesday night we have two Cub packs. The first pack begins at 5pm and ends at 7pm, the second pack begins at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30pm.

Throughout the evening we play many different exciting games. During the summer we make use of our large grounds, taking most of our games outside.

As badge work is a big part of Cub Scouting we ensure that every Cub has an equal opportunity to complete any badge in which they are interested. We offer them as much help as they require in completing their badge. During the winter months we spend a lot of time completing as many badges as possible. We then have our annual presentation night in which the cubs are presented with any badges, trophies and certificates they have achieved over these months. To find out more go to our BADGES page.

Presentation night is always a big night for us. A lot of preparation is put into making the night a success. We always invite a special guest to present the Cubs with their awards. We also have refreshments after the presentation.

Every year we go on many outings and holidays. These are always greatly enjoyable and we are always excited for our next adventure. To find out more go to our HOLIDAYS page.
